Summary
The primary responsibility of the Flooring & Shower Tile Field Customer Service Technician will be responsible providing excellent customer service regarding warranty repair or installation of products.
****This position will cover the East Bay Area from Oakland, Fremont, Newark, Hayward, to Milpitas & other cities within this area (office hub in Livermore)
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend and stoop for 8 hours.
Ability to lift & carry up to 50lbs. required.
Work Environment
Work performed at construction jobsites and office.
Skills & Qualifications
Level I:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
1 to 3 years of experience
Must have valid Driver’s License, vehicle insurance as required by State law, and ability to pass a motor vehicle report check successfully
Experience in the trade of Flooring (Carpet, LVP, Hardwood, Tile, etc.)
Good verbal communication skills for customer contact production
Good organization skills
Proficient computer skills
Level II:
All Qualifications in Level I plus:
2 to 5 years of experience
Flooring: Able to repair and replace tile and wood/LVP
Level III:
All Qualifications in Level II plus:
5 plus years of experience
Expert in larger replacements and repairs of multiple products and trades
Mentoring and training capabilities production
Essential Functions
Level I
Perform simple repairs and touch-ups following production installation on all trades
Perform minor installation tasks following production process
Other duties as assigned
Level II
All Functions included in Level I plus:
Inspects and diagnoses product and installation issues
Confirmation of completed appointments
Other duties as assigned
Level III
All Functions included in Level II plus:
Performs repairs and replacements of 3 or more materials
Other duties as assigned
** salary range $21.00- $23.00/ hourly
