We are trusted for engineering solutions and are known for designing and fabricating custom hydraulic power units, hydraulic valve actuators, and hydraulic winch packages.
The job of a Hose Technician is to use all the tools and equipment necessary to assembly and test hose assemblies to meet customer’s specifications. A Hose Technician is responsible for accurately selecting correct raw materials, cutting hose to proper length, crimping the specified fittings in their proper orientation, cleaning and testing all to customer specifications. They are also responsible for maintaining warehouse inventory and shipping and receiving duties. This position will also be required to train to weld steel braids. On occasion, they may be required to work overtime to complete a job on time or other duties, as the company requires.
Requirements:Hours
Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm with an hour lunch and two 15 minute paid breaks.

- The employee occasionally will work in heat and cold (weather); this position functions within a normal warehouse environment.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be on their feet for 8 hours or more.
- The employee is required to lift up to 80 pounds.
Tasks
- Pull raw materials hose and fittings in the quantities specified in the work order.
- Operate lifting equipment (i.e. forklift).
- Operate tag machines
- Operate the hose saws.
- Operate the crimping machines.
- Weld Steel Braids
- Use power tools.
- Clean (pig) hoses.
- Test hoses (hydrostatic)
- Cap Hose ends.
- Package hoses for shipment.
- Maintain traceability and records on quality forms and or work orders.
- Clean and maintain work area.

Knowledge and Education
- Must have technical knowledge of hydraulic hose and fittings.
- Welding Aptitude/Skill a plus
