Position Summary :
ISI is seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to support multiple technical projects within a federal construction environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering principles, project management, and financial oversight. This role requires collaboration across cross-functional teams, including engineering, construction, and finance, to ensure project success and compliance with federal regulations.
Responsibilities / Job Functions
Project Support :
- Assist in the management of multiple technical projects, including full budget and financial tracking for each project.
- Participate in project meetings to document project status, action items, risks, and next steps.
- Collaborate with Finance, Project Managers, and Contracting Officers to maintain project budgets and status dashboards.
- Assist with monthly invoice reviews (pencil requisitions) to ensure construction work aligns with the Schedule of Values and that payments to contractors are accurate based on the percentage of work completed.
- Document the technical, financial, and personnel aspects of each project to ensure comprehensive project records.
