Job Title
The After 3 Associate is responsible for providing daily care to students in the After 3 program.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure children's safety, engagement, and well-being at all times.
- Maintain a positive role model attitude and foster a safe, fun, and healthy environment.
- Participate in professional development and required meetings.
- Follow established routines, protocols, and policies of Newman.
- Complete assigned duties efficiently.
Expectations
- Lead or assist students in purposeful activities indoors and outdoors.
- Establish and maintain healthy boundaries with students.
- Monitor children during recess and ensure a safe play environment.
- Assist students with daily tasks and promote their growth.
- Lift supplies weighing up to 35 pounds and utilize facilities responsibly.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- One year of childcare experience (preferred).
Additional Information
This is a part-time temporary position, working 2:45 - 5:30 p.m., one to five days per week, Monday through Friday.
