Is currently looking for an Accountant to join their team.
Duties:
- Managing employees and deadlines
- Performing audits in accordance with the IAASB standards
- Compiling financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards as well as the IFRS for SMEs standards.
- VAT calculations as well as yearly recons
- Employee tax calculations as well as the IRP5 recons
- Liaising with clients and potential new clients.
- Income tax calculations for individuals, companies, and trusts.
- Identifying lack of internal controls in the clients business environment
- Financial analysis of clients information and changes within the entity.
- Educate staff on certain aspects of financial reporting and auditing. Ensure client complies to regulations such as corporate governance, legal compliance as well as SARS related requirements.
- Dealing with SARS on behalf of our clients in aspects such as SARS verifications, registrations and return.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Completed Articles
- BSc Financial Accounting
- Experience working in an Accountancy dealing with various client portfolios.
