Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Programmer with experience in agrochemical or plant science data to support the analysis, visualization, and regulatory reporting of studies required for global agrochemical product registrations. This role is essential to ensure high-quality data outputs aligned with regulatory agency standards (EPA, OECD, EFSA, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and validate data processing and reporting programs for agrochemical field and laboratory studies (e.g., residue, ecotoxicology, environmental fate).
- Analyze raw study data using SAS, R, Python, or similar tools, producing tabulations and summaries for regulatory dossiers.
- Ensure that data output meets Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and regulatory compliance standards.
- Generate and format study reports, summaries, and electronic data files (e.g., XML, Excel, PDF) for regulatory submission.
- Collaborate with scientists, regulatory writers, and study directors to understand data structures and study designs.
- Maintain version-controlled scripts and documentation of analysis workflows.
- Assist in preparation of submission packages for global regulatory bodies (e.g., EPA, EFSA, PMRA).
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Plant Science, Agriculture, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 6 years of programming experience in agrochemical, environmental science, or regulatory submissions.
- Proficiency in SAS, R, or Python for data analysis and reporting.
- Understanding of GLP standards and agrochemical regulatory requirements (EPA, OECD, EFSA).
- Experience working with study data from field trials, residue, toxicology, or ecotoxicology studies.
- Familiarity with data formatting standards for regulatory dossiers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with agrochemical companies.
- Knowledge of regulatory submission software/tools (e.g., Documentum, eCTD tools).
- Strong skills in data visualization, quality control, and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.
