Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner while ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed.
- Assist with food preparation when necessary, ensuring all items meet quality standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils between guests.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests from guests.
- Perform basic math calculations for checks and payments accurately.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or as a Server is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
