In Home Caregiver (PSS Certification Required)

Join our top-notch team providing in-home care for elders on Chebeague Island (transportation covered). PSS certification and experience required. Great starting wage of $23-$25 with PSS/Experience, plus a $15 travel stipend for each shift worked. We currently have available 24-36 hours per week, weekdays. Benefits are available for full-time employees (36 hours per week). If desired, additional hours may be available as a Direct Care Attendant at our 7-bed residential care facility.

In-Home Caregiver/Compassionate Care Provider Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home care to clients, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the supervisor
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients

In-Home Caregiver/Compassionate Care Provider Responsibilities Skills:
- Compassionate and caring nature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Patience and understanding when working with clients who may have physical or cognitive limitations
- Ability to adapt to different client needs and preference
