Summary
A Senior level person typically works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently. A Senior level person may oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
Functional Duties
- Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.
- Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules.
- Performs management, technical, or business case analyses.
- Collects, completes, organizes, and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs.
- Tracks program/project status and schedules.
- Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, an data management.
- Prepares briefs and other materials using a variety of software including Microsoft Office programs.
- Assists and provides recommendations to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).

Required Education
MA/MS degree from an accredited college or university.
ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: BS/BA degree from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of additional work experience OR AS or AA degree and an additional four (4) years of experience;
OR no degree and an additional six (6) years of experience in program management, technical, or business analysis discipline.
Required Experience:
Minimum of ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of experience performing the duties and responsibilities.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. NAVAIR core working hours are 8:30
a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. CWS is authorized for this position.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information at the Secret Level. Ideal candidates will currently possess an Active DoD Secret Clearance; however, candidates with US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance will be considered. Must be able to receive a Government Common Access Card (CAD), access Government systems, and receive a security clearance.

$141,876.80 - $176,030.40
