Deli Manager

Summary:

The Deli Manager coordinates activities and directs the training of Deli Associates and Deli Management in the preparation and cooking of foods to ensure an efficient and profitable Food Service Deli

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Coordinate the operations of the Deli Department.
• Required to have knowledge of all aspects of the Deli Department and general knowledge of all aspects of retailing.
• Shall be flexible in schedule availability, i.e. able to work any shift, day, and holiday.
• Maintain excellent customer service embedded in the Spirit of Aloha.
• Train and directs associates on customer service fundamentals.
• Quickly, efficiently, and courtesy fill customers’ orders.
• Determines variety and quantity of deli products to be produced, according to orders and sales projections.
• Plans product distribution to customers, and negotiates with suppliers to arrange purchase and delivery of deli supplies
• Implements policies to utilize human resources, machines, and materials productively
• Prepare and cook various food dishes.
• Trim and cut meat, pork, seafood, poultry, fruits, and vegetables.
• Prepare catering and customer’s orders.
• Assistants are required to be on the sales floor the majority of the time.
• Train new associates on customer service fundamentals.
• Opening and closing store and/or department properly
• Inventory control: stock control cards, deals, ordering, pricing, stocking, out-of-stocks, transfers, invoices, price changes, and claim procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Food service: 2 years (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:
