About the Role
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Chemical Process Engineer to lead our Special Synthesis team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing chemical manufacturing processes, from research and development through pilot-scale production and mass production.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement chemical manufacturing processes for the synthesis of new products.
- Lead the design setup and procurement of synthesis equipment.
- Create and refine pilot-scale production processes.
- Conduct research on new products to be synthesized.
- Source and procure raw materials and precursors.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to develop standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in chemical engineering is required; a Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemical engineering is necessary.
- Proven expertise in analytical chemistry techniques.
- Hands-on experience in designing and assembling test units and prototypes.
- Knowledge of processing equipment such as reactors, filtration units, hydrogenation units, distillation units, dryers, etc.
- Experience with CFD simulation tools such as COMSOL is preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as Solidworks, Creo, CATIA, etc.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
