Overview
The Behavioral Health Clinician will provide high-quality behavioral health services to patients. They will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing individual and group therapy services to patients. The BH Clinician will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including the Behavioral Health Care Manager to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients. The BH clinician will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, with frequent interactions with patients and healthcare professionals. The BH Clinician will provide both tele-health or in-person services.
Minimum Skills, Experience, and Educational Requirements
· Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field.
· Current state licensure as a mental health therapist (LMHC, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or licensed psychologist).
· Experience providing mental health services in a healthcare setting, preferably in a Federally Qualified Health Center.
· Knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health treatment, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
· Proficiency in EPIC and other relevant technology.
· Cultural competence and sensitivity to the needs of diverse patient populations.
Responsibilities
· Conduct mental health assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse.
· Provide individual therapy services to patients using evidence-based approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing.
· Consult on the development of outpatient groups (ex. Intensive Outpatient/Anger Management/ Relapse Prevention)
· Collaborate with healthcare professionals within IHC, including the behavioral health care manager, primary care providers, collaborating psychiatrist, nurses, community health workers, and office staff to provide coordinated care for patients.
· Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in EPIC in accordance with IHC and regulatory guidelines.
· Participate in team meetings and quality improvement activities to ensure high-quality and effective care for patients.
· Stay up to date with best practices in mental health treatment and participate in continuing education activities to maintain licensure and professional development.

Pay: Up to $150,000.00 per year
