What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hockey Coach and Camp Counselor position at Island Lake Camp?
Island Lake Camp is a coed sleep-away camp located in Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains. We feature a 4-week and a 3-week session for our campers aged 7-17. At Island Lake, we emphasize individualized programming to give each camper their ideal summer experience. Our counselors play a dual role at camp; they live with a specific bunk and age group while teaching their expertise in a designated activity area. Within this area, coaches will spend, on average, 5 hours per day coaching and instructing.
Responsibilities :
- Lead engaging drills and practices for campers of all skill levels
- Coach games / tournaments against other summer camps
- Help campers increase their confidence on and off the court
- Live with a group of campers and co-counselors and help tend to their day-to-day needs
- Be a role model to others in your attitude and behavior.
Job Requirements :
