Position Overview:
We are seeking a Pile Driving Crew Member to join our growing team. This position involves performing a variety of tasks related to the construction of marine structures, including boathouses, piers, decks, and other pile driving projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, and have an interest in learning and growing within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with pile driving operations for piers, boathouses, decks, and other marine structures
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as required
• Maintain safe job site practices and comply with all safety standards
• Assist in digging, setting, and securing piles for foundation installation
• Load, unload, and organize construction materials
• Help with concrete and wood work when necessary
• Follow directions from crew leads and project supervisors
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure successful project completion

Skills & Knowledge Required:

• Basic Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with construction processes, tools, and safety practices
• Pile Driving Experience: Prior experience with pile driving or working with construction materials (preferred but not required)
• Equipment Operation: Ability to operate basic construction tools (e.g., drills, saws, hammers, etc.)
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions
• Teamwork: Must be able to work effectively as part of a crew, collaborating with coworkers and supervisors
• Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain a high standard of work quality
• Work Ethic: Strong reliability and punctuality; able to work long hours when needed
• Problem Solving: Ability to address minor problems or challenges on-site with guidance from senior crew members
• Comfort with Outdoor Work: Willingness to work outside, regardless of weather conditions, on a variety of job sites (waterfront, land, etc.)

Qualifications:

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided
• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends or overtime if required

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
