Join our team of photographers attending Graduations this May!
What you will need:
Solid communication skills to interact with Administrators and Students, Energetic upbeat style, the ability to be on time, a dark suit (conservative look) and a car. Photo skills are important but people skills matter more! (we will train you on photo skills)
Event description
A typical Commencement runs 2 hrs, however, we must arrive 2 hrs prior to start so 4 hrs total(sometimes less). We do try to book you for muliple events in a day when possible. No image editing, we provide the media and equipment. Travel expenses, mileage reimbursement covered. Arrive timely & professionally dressed (dark suit please) ready to engage. Communication skills, reliabilty and photography knowledge are all a must!
Coverage Consists of :
- Showing up early to set up, engage with studnets to collect student contact information and take lots of fun group candids of graduates!
- Photographing each graduate as they cross stage (yes, moving targets), and stop for a quick portrait (keeping pace with ceremony)
- Public Relations photos -Ceremony highlights, speakers and candids of graduates reacting during ceremony.
- Attention to detail, when completing paperwork and packing up the job.
- Accurate and pleasant shooting skills while smiling andcommunicating with graduates in the flow!
Important Dates for Scheduling: May 9,10,14,16,17,18,21 & 25th and June 25,27 and 28th (Albany area) more dates are available if you are willing to travel .This is a Seasonal opportunity that recurrs each year Also April 9th OR 10th for a two hour hands on training (you will be paid $50 for the training)

- We team up with our school contact to plan the logistics of capturing two great photos of each graduate and deliver well composed, technically sound images within 48 hours after their event (our office handles this portion).
