Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join Island Pointe G.Cs kitchen staff. Island Pointe Golf Club is a course located in Kodak TN that has recently opened a bar/grill and is needing dedicated kitchen staff. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of food preparation and service that our establishment is known for. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring all ingredients are prepped according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including bussing tables and cleaning dishes.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food handling and preparation.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.
- Support cooks in executing menu items efficiently while adhering to presentation standards.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or issues.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any guest inquiries or concerns related to food offerings.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
