Seasonal Pool Cleaner

Island Pool and Spa is currently looking for friendly, self motivated and dependable Pool Cleaner. In this role, you will be responsible for weekly pool and spa cleanings, ensuring they are maintained in a safe and sanitary condition. This includes netting, brushing, and vacuuming pools according to established procedures. You will also check and perform preventive maintenance on pumps, chlorinators, heating, and filtration equipment to ensure optimal operation. During peak season, longer workdays and occasional Saturdays may be required.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the company vehicle to customer locations, adhering to strict driver courtesy and following all Maine State Laws
• Organize your time and workload efficiently and effectively to meet service schedules
• Clean swimming pools and spas using the appropriate equipment and techniques
• Service pool equipment as needed to maintain optimal performance
• Test water and adjust water balance using the appropriate chemicals
• Add chemicals safely and accurately to ensure proper water quality
• Maintain equipment and inventory in the company vehicle
• Complete work orders accurately and report any service requirements to management

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced, service oriented environment
• Willingness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain or shine
• Positive attitude and team oriented mindset to contribute to our family like atmosphere
