What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Assistant position at Island Pool & Spa?
Island Pool and Spa is currently looking for friendly, self motivated and dependable Service Assistant. In this role, you will support our pool and spa service operations, including seasonal openings, cleanings, and closings. You will work under the direct supervision of a Service Manager, training will be provided. This position requires working in all weather conditions, including rain or shine. Occasional Saturday work and overtime may be required. Candidates must have the physical ability to lift between 50-100 pounds.

Duties:
-Maintain accurate work orders for every job
- Assist in cleaning and balancing pools and spas, including recording water chemistry.
- Provide support to service technicians and other team members
-Load and organize van for jobs you will be working on that day
- Perform general maintenance tasks at the shop, including mowing lawns, unloading deliveries, restocking retail shelves, washing and waxing company vehicles, and other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced, service oriented environment
-Willingness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain or shine
- Positive attitude and team oriented mindset to contribute to our family like atmosphere
