Counter Sales Role
We are seeking a self-motivated, customer service-oriented individual to join our team in a full-time Counter Sales role.
This position will focus on order entry at the sales counter and related duties such as warehouse management, stocking shelves, shipping products, and loading trucks.
The workweek is Monday through Friday, with opportunities for overtime during the busy season.
Key Responsibilities:
- Entering orders at the point of sale using our company computer system
- Interacting with customers over the phone, via email, and in-person
- Greeting customers with a friendly attitude
- Basic computer and phone skills
- Communicating product information to customers
- Creating Sales Orders and Quotes
- Scheduling truck deliveries efficiently
- Maintaining clear communication between manager, employees, and clients
- Ensuring a clean work environment
- Learning basic knowledge of products available to customers
- Informing management of customer needs
- Assisting with Inventory Cycle Counts and Order Picking/Staging/Replenishment
- Shipping/Receiving and Loading/Unloading delivery vehicles
Requirements:
- Basic computer knowledge and internet use
- Experience with pool industry (not required)
- Forklift experience helpful
- Able to lift 75 lbs; 50 lbs on a repetitive basis
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
