Hours :
Flexible hours available during the daytime to complete evaluations as needed. Reports must be completed with a quick turn around. Candidates will be expected to be available to respond to inquiries regarding the report promptly to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities :
Responsibilities include conducting a psychiatric interview at one of our three locations, reviewing medical records and / or any other supporting documentation from the entity requesting our services, collaborating as needed with outside treatment providers and with the Island Psychiatry Consultation team, and report writing. Once a report has been submitted for review, candidates will be expected to complete revisions as soon as possible.
Skills :
Clinical license (MD, PhD / PsyD, LCSW or LMHC) and at least 2 years of clinical experience completing psychiatric / psychological evaluations
Previous experience in forensic report writing is preferred, however not required. Ideal candidates will be proficient in clinical writing and have mastered APA format.
Proficiency with technology is essential. Our technology platform is Zoho, which has programs comparable to Microsoft Suite. Training for our programs will be provided, but we feel a "jump right in attitude" is best when learning new software.
Salary : Earning potential based on hour worked. Percentage based pay; Range from $125-$225 hour based on experience
