Location: Norristown, PA
Schedule:
- Typical work hours are 6:00 AM to 3:00-4:00 PM, with some flexibility as needed.
- On-call availability is required, but this typically occurs only a few times per year on weekends.

Position Overview: The Installation Trainee will be directly involved in UST installation projects. The Installation Trainee will be part of a crew with the goal of becoming proficient in the installation of fueling systems that include but are not limited to tank installation, piping installation, dispenser installation and related mechanical systems that are used to operate fueling facilities & dispense fuel products. As an Installation Trainee, you will be partnered with a daily crew and learn the trade with the goal of becoming licensed and certified to advance to a Foreman position.
What You’ll Do:
- Join an installation team and participate in all aspects of underground storage tank (UST) installation projects, including tank, piping, and dispenser installations.
- Learn the trade with the goal of becoming licensed and certified to advance to a Foreman position.
- Complete necessary forms, reports, logs, and other documentation.
- Ensure worksite safety and comply with all safety guidelines.
- Operate heavy equipment needed for project phases.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure continuous project flow and adherence to safety standards.
What You’ll Need:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related experience in the construction industry.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to safely operate a construction truck.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent customer service skills.
- Proficient time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Physical ability to climb ladders, stand, squat, shovel, and lift 75 lbs. from floor to shoulder height.
- Ability to navigate modern technology such as tablets and smartphones
Pay Range
USD $23.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.Salary : $23 - $25
