Summary
We are seeking a Warehouse Technician to join our dynamic team at Island Resort & Casino. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, packing and shipping, distribution of stock to appropriate department locations, communicating with suppliers as well as performing general warehouse functions. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining the high standards of service that our guests expect.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments efficiently.
- Operate forklift and pallet trucks
- Pick and pack orders for distribution with attention to detail.
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely to move products within the warehouse.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Business or related degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Computer experience with the following: Windows, Microsoft Access, Excel, Word
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills along with being a team player
- Forklift certification training will be provided and certification required
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
