Campground Park Host

***The camp host must have their own RV and live on-site.*** Come work with us at Island Retreat RV Park! We're looking for a Camp Host couple to assist in overseeing our park located in Gulf Shores, Alabama. This position is full-time with variable hours. Pay will vary depending on hours worked total, but at minimum will cover site Rent and all utilities (electric, water, sewer, trash, cable, & wifi)

Camp Host's responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

⦁ Greet/Escort guests, assist with check-in and check-out
⦁ Be a helpful resource to guests & answer any questions
⦁ Monitor guest activities to ensure compliance with park policies
⦁ Perform routine indoor and outdoor maintenance duties
⦁ Assist in cleaning exterior/interior facilities (particularly bathroom buildings)
⦁ Ensure property is well manicured and guest ready at all times
⦁ Maintain a neat and orderly camp site
⦁ Work closely with Park Manager and assist other employees when asked

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM WORK:

⦁ Any combination of education, training and experience that provides the necessary skills for this position
⦁ Knowledge of RV Park operations, regulations, and policies.
⦁ Able to deliver outstanding customer service.
⦁ The ability to work independently to complete daily activities according to work schedule.
⦁ Ability to maintain accurate activity reports and park records.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Work in an outdoor setting, the employee must be able to perform in all types of weather conditions.
