Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Boat Fiberglass Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with boats and have extensive knowledge and experience in fiberglass repair and installation. The Boat Fiberglass Technician will be responsible for repairing and maintaining boats to ensure they are in excellent condition. This would be a great opportunity for someone wanting to go into business for themselves without the business background. We'll handle all the back end work!

Responsibilities:

• Repairing and installing fiberglass on boats
• Sanding and buffing boat surfaces
• Gel coat repair
• Performing repairs on hulls, decks, and other boat surfaces
• Removing and replacing boat hardware
• Ensuring all repairs meet quality standards
• Maintaining a safe work environment and following safety procedures
• Keeping accurate records of all repairs and maintenance work completed
• Collaborating with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient boat repair processes
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving issues as they arise

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in boat fiberglass repair and installation
• Knowledge of boat maintenance and repair processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work independently without supervision
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with a team
• Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions
• Must have own tools and equipment
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
