Job Overview:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations, this person will assist with the “Island Way” customer service/ order entry function including receiving and processing customer orders via EDI, work directly with the customers, fulfilling orders, and communicating with the sales team. This role will be critical in helping “Island Way” manage daily revenue activity flow ensuring all orders are received and processed in a timely manner.
Job Responsibilities:
· Demonstrate exceptional customer service to all Island Way LLC customers
· Cultivate and manage strong relationships with customers
· Assist customers with their questions and needs, via phone or through inline ordering
· Lead EDI support, pull order in via EDI, add new customers via EDI working with our partner True Commerce.
· Update weekly operations reports in excel to support company supply chain planning and reporting
· Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of customer service/order entry
· Experience in the grocery / food retail sector a preferred
· Experience with QuickBooks preferred
· Consumer goods experience preferred
· Person of high character and integrity
· Strong excel skills and attention to detail
· Willingness to work outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, based on business demands
