Job Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Scheduler to join the $19.5 billion Redevelopment Program at JFK Airport. The successful candidate will work on schedules of significant risk and impact to the organization requiring advance knowledge of scheduling principles. Monitors and reports on status, analyzing schedules and associated changes for key risk areas and milestones impact.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Independently develops new project schedules for complex projects using scheduling software. Maintains project schedule including progress updates. Communicates status of schedule and key risk areas to members of project management team.
- Performs schedule risk analysis, including quantitative risk analysis.
- Performs schedule analysis to include critical activities, risk areas, key milestones and significant changes to schedule. Develops “what if” scenarios to explore alternate sequencing in order to mitigate or avoid schedule delays. Revises forecasts and evaluates impact of delay.
- Performs claims related analysis using contractor claims, delay cost estimates, time impacts, etc.
- Prepares reporting from schedules including EVA analysis, integration of cost and schedule.
- Performs contemporaneous schedule analysis.
- Performs detailed review of contractor schedule submittals, including baseline and progress updates.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Business
- 6 years related experience
- In lieu of education, 10 years project controls experience
- AACE PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional) or equivalent
- Proficient in the use of Primavera P6 Scheduling Software.
- Mega Project Experience Preferred.
Salary: $130,000 - $180,000
