Isle of Wight County Schools is seeking an Assistant Grant Project Director for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a 12-month position. The position is grant funded. Salary will be based on allocations from the grant which starts at $56, 000 for Year 1 and provides for a stanard of living increase each year.
The Assistant Grant Project Director will work closely with the Tidewater Consortium to manage a Teacher Quality Partnership grant awarded by the U.S. Department of Education, providing the consortium with approximately $9 million to support initiatives aimed at recruiting, preparing, and retaining a diverse teacher workforce in the region; particularly focusing on addressing teacher shortages and improving teacher quality in underserved communities.
