Summary

We are seeking an Expeditor to join our dynamic team at Isles Yacht Club. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth communication between the kitchen and dining room, facilitating timely service and enhancing the overall dining experience for our members.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate food orders between the kitchen and dining staff to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to club standards before serving.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and service areas.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding special requests or modifications.
• Monitor food presentation to ensure it meets quality standards before it reaches the table.
• Support the waitstaff during busy periods by assisting with food service as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred.
• Strong culinary knowledge and understanding of food preparation techniques.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate teamwork in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices.
