What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Staff position at Isles Yacht Club?
Job Requirements:
Looking for Experienced Line Cooks-Broiler, Sauté, Pantry, and Kitchen Utility/Daytime Prep Cook
Prepares all the food items as directed in a sanitary, timely and cost effective manner.
He/she also follows recipes, control’s portions and presentation specifications as set by the Isles Yacht Club.
He/she is also responsible for performing other related duties as assigned by the manager.
Following proper plate presentation and garnish set-up for all dishes is also done by a Line Cook.
A Line Cook must also complete kitchen tasks such as line set-up, food preparation, cleanup and breakdown.
We are looking for a team player who is detail-oriented and eager to learn.
Education and Experience:
High School Education preferred.
A Culinary Program Curriculum is an added plus.
2-3 years of previous cooking experience.
Consistent and verifiable job history.
Food Safety Certification.
A team player who works well with others.
Ability to multi task.
Outstanding communication skills.
