Job Summary:
The Enterprise Data and Machine Learning team at CVS Health is seeking an exceptional Senior Product Manager with expertise in data analytics to join our Modern Data Platform team. This is an individual contributor role, focusing on managing platforms and processes rather than people. The ideal candidate will help drive the development of a trustworthy, self-service data platform to enable teams to generate valuable insights and data products efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define data platform vision, OKRs, and outcome-based roadmaps for multiple agile teams.
- Build and nurture influential relationships with stakeholders, partners, and user groups to ensure platform adoption and satisfaction.
- Conduct market research to integrate the latest innovations into platform roadmaps.
- Develop detailed analysis, synthesize materials, and create presentations to inform stakeholders on key milestones and decisions.
- Gather requirements from stakeholders, define features, and establish success metrics.
- Collaborate with design teams to conduct user research, validate concepts, and create high-fidelity wireframes.
- Manage cross-team dependencies with other Product Managers.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate risks at both the train and agile team levels.
- Contribute to user-facing documentation on platform capabilities and data products.
- Improve methodologies to launch new features, test their performance, and iterate quickly.
- Manage an evolving backlog of features, stories, and bugs for agile teams.
- Develop mockups, journey maps, data flows, decision trees, and other artifacts to guide teams.
- Ensure completion of user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
- Actively participate in release planning, execution, and communications.
- Lead and participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint demos, retrospectives).
- Drive issue resolution by working with end users to identify problems and collaborating with engineering teams for root cause analysis and remediation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience as a Product Manager in a large, matrixed organization.
- 7 years of experience working on data analytics platforms, services, or products.
- 5 years of experience in agile methodologies, using agile productivity tools, and leading incremental software releases.
- 5 years of experience collaborating with design teams for user research, concept validation, and wireframe development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of healthcare data management processes, data standards, interoperability, and data privacy.
- Experience with large-scale technology modernization initiatives.
Education Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree required.
- Graduate degree preferred.
- Preference for degrees in engineering, information systems, or data analytics-related fields.
