Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the QA team, overseeing all aspects of the QA process.
- Develop, implement, and maintain automation frameworks for API testing.
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts with a focus on API testing.
- Utilize automation tools/frameworks such as Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with development teams to resolve defects.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices in QA and testing.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, providing guidance and support to team members.
- Manage client relationships and handle account management tasks as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role, with a focus on API testing.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured, etc.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Proven experience as a QA manager or in a relevant role.
- Strong background in account management or client-facing roles.
- Solid understanding of API technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, etc.) and web services.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating automated tests into CI workflows.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
