Job Summary: Manage and operate the equipment of the inedible egg drying process. This will include operating the unloading/loading tankers, dryer, and packaging equipment as well as other required equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Will be responsible for product quality and the completion of production records as required. Repeatedly lift 55 lb. bag on a regular/constant basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all Security Procedures.
- Ensure that all care is provided with respect to customer, client and co-workers’ rights.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Adhere to work schedules in completing and performing assigned tasks.
- Operate the tanker unloading / loading, processing, drying and packaging equipment.
- Ensure preventative and routine maintenance is completed and done in the most cost effective manner.
- Ensure the plant is kept clean and presentable.
- Ensure equipment is operating correctly to ensure a high-quality product.
- Completion of required operation reports, log tracking and other required paperwork.
- Sample both inbound and finished product and log results as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be mechanically inclined and have ability to perform general maintenance as required.
- Ability to operate power tools and equipment safely.
- Ability to read, understand and effectively communicate information through writing and speaking so others will understand.
- Must be able to repeatedly lift 55 lb. bag on a regular/constant basis.
- Attention to detail.
- Hand/Eye/Foot Coordination.
- Independent Self-Starter/Team Player.
- Mathematical Skills: General Arithmetic/Basic Algebra/Percentages/Fractions.
- Advanced English: fluent in: speaking, writing and reading.
- Able to frequently push, pull, lift and climb stairs.
- Able to work in all environmental conditions.
- Able to frequently up to 100 lbs.
- Experience in drying liquid egg (preferred).
- Mechanical and equipment repair skills (preferred).
- Sanitation experience: CIP, pumps (preferred).
