Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and a passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and providing training to staff and caregivers to ensure the highest quality of care for our clients.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess the needs of clients with behavioral challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy services to clients, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare professionals, to ensure integrated support for clients.
- Train and supervise staff in the implementation of behavior intervention plans and data collection methods.
- Monitor client progress through regular assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and any changes in behavior or circumstances.
- Stay current with research and best practices in the field of behavioral analysis and special education.
Experience
- A Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is mandatory.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and diagnostic evaluation processes is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and their application in real-world settings.
- Previous experience in special education or related fields is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment are essential.
