Process/Product Engineering Manager

Job Overview:

Isoclima Specialty Glass is seeking a Product/Process Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in developing and improving our glass manufacturing processes and products. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in developing and implementing process and product improvements that drive quality, efficiency, and cost savings. They will be responsible for managing the engineering team and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process and product improvements. Additionally, this position will act as a Subject Matter Expert within the organization and provide product support to the sales team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement process and product improvements to drive quality, efficiency, and cost savings
• Lead the engineering team in developing and implementing new manufacturing processes and technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and quality, to identify and address process and product issues
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to glass manufacturing processes and products
• Manage the engineering budget and develop project plans to meet business objectives
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the production team to ensure process and product quality
• Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers
• Manage and develop the engineering team, including hiring, training, and performance management
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert within the organization and provide product support to the sales team

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Chemical or Materials Science Engineering
• 5 years of experience in glass manufacturing process and product engineering
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of glass manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies
• Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing process and product improvements
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience managing and developing a team of engineers
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to glass manufacturing processes and products
• Ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert and provide product support to the sales team

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
