Operations Coordinator Specialist

Job Description

The Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of workshop service orders while maintaining compliance with contractual obligations.

This position requires effective and timely management of service work orders for the Service Team, as well as assisting in documenting processes and implementing improvements to ensure quality control and productivity.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service orientation, technical sales knowledge, and ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents.

A minimum of 3 years of related work experience or an associate's or bachelor's degree in procurement, supply chain and distribution, technical science or other related area is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing technical reports from workshop staff to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Supporting the development of guiding principles for assigned workshop staff members.
• Assisting in cross-training and individual employee growth plans.
• Learning and development initiatives.
• Maintaining optimum communications and relationship with internal customers.
• Coordinating with various departments involved in the service delivery process.

Requirements:

• Technical knowledge/experience in maritime and energy industry preferred.
• Exceptional customer service orientation.
• Technical sales knowledge preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents preferred.
• Solid negotiation skills.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks and prioritize based on business need.
