Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Technology to lead and oversee our technology teams, including product, software, network engineering, and technical operations. This role is responsible for driving innovation across software, networking, and product development, ensuring we stay ahead of industry trends and technological advancements. The VP of Technology will also serve as a key peer-to-peer relationship manager with enterprise clients and resellers, ensuring strong alignment between our technology roadmap and partner needs.

This leader will own day-to-day team leadership, balancing tactical execution with strategic planning. They will be responsible for KPIs, direct report 1:1s, team priorities, and coaching an existing group of technology managers to develop their skills and drive performance. Additionally, they will own all technology-related initiatives tied to 2025 company objectives, making critical decisions on hardware/product selection, technical vendor relationships, platform compliance, and annual audits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously develop the company’s technology vision and strategy.
  • Lead and develop the product, software, engineering, and technical operations teams through structured KPIs, 1:1s, and coaching to build a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective investment in our people and systems.
  • Drive innovation across product development, software, and networking, ensuring we stay ahead of industry trends and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Act as a peer-to-peer technical relationship manager with enterprise clients and reseller partners, aligning technology strategies with their needs.
  • Own and execute technology-related initiatives in alignment with 2025 corporate objectives.
  • Oversee platform compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to regulatory and security standards, including annual audits.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data through robust cybersecurity protocols.
  • Manage technical vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with business needs and cost efficiency.
  • Make key hardware and product selection decisions across the technology stack.
  • Ensure reliability, security, and performance of our software platforms, network infrastructure, and technical operations.
  • Oversee cross-functional collaboration, ensuring alignment between technology, business objectives, and customer needs.
  • Manage internal incident responses and proper orchestration of communication and actions to quickly resolve.
  • Manage daily escalations, questions, and strategic problem-solving, acting as the final technical escalation point within the company.

Key Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a proven track record of managing and scaling technology teams.
  • Deep expertise across software development, cloud computing, network engineering, hardware selection, and IT infrastructure.
  • Deep expertise in cyber security best practices and implementing security protocols.
  • Experience in mentoring and coaching early-career managers, developing future technology leaders.
  • Proven track record of efficiency budget management, with a keen eye for cost optimization.
  • Strong innovation mindset with the ability to identify emerging trends.
  • Ability to manage key enterprise technical relationships.
  • Experience owning technology strategy and partnerships at an organizational level.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
