Things you’ll do in this role:
- Discuss technical, often scientific, topics with external audiences.
- Build relationships with a range of carbon removal suppliers and take ownership of contract negotiations from start to finish.
- Coordinate between Isometric team members across different divisions (Science, Growth, Technology) to identify and address blockers to working with target suppliers.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing and driving high-stakes partnerships and negotiations, particularly in environments that require innovative and strategic thinking.
- Aptitude for quickly diving into complex topics and gaining a strong enough understanding to credibly discuss them with technical audiences, such as scientists.
- Experience in nature based solutions or natural capital.
- Desirable: STEM academic background.
- You want a remote job. We value collaboration and physical time together. We’re in the office three days per week.
- You want to stay within your area of expertise and you prefer structured environments. We’re a small team moving at extreme pace in an environment with plenty of ambiguity. We’re building and learning on the fly—and everyone’s a generalist.
- You’re looking for a short-term gig. Everything at Isometric is designed for the long term: our business model, our compensation/reward system and our decision-making processes. You should only apply if you’re looking to make a move that will last 5-10 years.
