Career Opportunity for a Systems & Manufacturing Business Analyst with a growing manufacturer located just south of the Birmingham area!
The Systems & Manufacturing Business Analyst will bridge the gap between IT systems and manufacturing processes, ensuring seamless integration and optimization of both. Administers, maintains, and supports software applications. Ensures correct functionality and accuracy of the interface or conversion scripts. Relies on direction and good judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
The Salary Range is 90k – 100k based upon prior depth and breadth of work experience, education and overall skill set.
Responsibilities will include :
- Analyze, design, and implement system integration solutions to streamline manufacturing processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- Evaluate existing systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
- Develop, test, and deploy integration solutions, ensuring compatibility and seamless data flow between different systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system integration issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to understand their needs and provide technical support for system-related issues.
- Work closely with ERP Developer to provide point of contact for operational needs and ensure alignment with business goals and specifications.
- Provide end user support for ERP (NAV), HRIS, Vertex and other in-house business systems.
- Create, maintain and optimize JET reports
- Design advanced SQL queries, scripts, cursors, stored procedures, triggers
- Optimize and improves SQL code for better performance
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and process workflows.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users, ensuring they are well-versed in new systems and processes.
- Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, generate insights, and support data-driven decision-making.
