ispace Technologies, US. is looking for a highly motivated and talented Proposal Manager to join its new team. This individual will be a key component in the financial growth and success of the company by working with our teams around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and introduce formal proposal process
- Manage proposal development and response from RFIs, RFQs or RFPs through to final product
- Support development of winning capture strategies (win themes, discriminators, barriers to win, key storylines, define the offer)
- Able to translate capture strategies into winning proposals
- Responsibility for managing the overall proposal process as part of a team
- Proposal organization: Organize data structure for all phases of proposal development; Create outlines and author assignments; Coordinate proposal efforts with SMEs, contracts, contractors, subcontractors, finance, human resources, and sub companies; Develop daily cadence for schedules, actions, training and assignments
- Proposal process: Receive, review, and extract all need information from RFQ, RFI, or RFPs; Develop timelines and schedules; Hold proposal team accountable to meet all deliverables on time
- Proposal development: Monitor status of proposal development documents for completeness, compliance with RFP requirements and inclusion of win themes and discriminators; Track proposal status (including graphics) and actions; Maintain Wall of Truth for standardization of terms and nomenclature
- Proposal compliance: Create RFP compliance matrix; Ensure RFP compliance; Create proposal templates and style guides
- Proposal submittals: Provide oversight of final proposal production, including desktop publishing, proofreading, editing, printing, and binding
- Deliver compliant, winning proposals and convincing RFIs
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline with focus on systems and control. We will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience
- Minimum 10 years proposal experience with NASA/DoD, and Commercial Customers with a high win rate
- Proficient in implementation tools: Salesforce, CRM, MS Suite, graphics programs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced design and development environment
- Schedule may vary depending on program development needs; flexibility required
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
- Experience working for Aerospace/Space Prime or sub-contractor strongly preferred
- Experience in startup environment a plus
