Position Title: Project Manager
Overview:
iSphere is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Project Manager in Houston, TX for an on-going / long term opportunity to lead and oversee diverse technology initiatives, including a Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration, an identity management cloud migration and optimization, the transition from on-premises software to cloud-based platforms (Identity Solution/Service, and Service Desk software upgrade) and the selection and implementation of cybersecurity tools. The project manager will manage these projects and initiation through completion. This role is critical to ensuring successful project outcomes that align with organizational goals and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
Coordinate with stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and success metrics.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Serve as the primary point of contact between technical teams, vendors, and organizational stakeholders.
Facilitate communication and ensure alignment across departments.
Manage stakeholder expectations and address project-related concerns proactively.
Software Implementation:
Lead the evaluation, selection, and deployment of off-the-shelf software solutions.
Ensure that chosen solutions meet technical requirements and organizational needs.
Coordinate with technical teams to manage data migration, system integration, and performance optimization
Oversee configuration, testing, and end-user training to ensure successful adoption.
Risk Management and Problem-Solving:
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Resolve issues promptly to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.
Address risks and challenges associated with cloud transitions, including compliance and scalability.
Reporting and Documentation:
Provide regular updates to leadership on project status, key milestones, and potential roadblocks.
Maintain thorough documentation, including project plans, technical requirements, and post-implementation reviews.

Key Competencies:
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, Smartsheets).
- Bachelor's degree in project management, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- 5 8 years of experience managing technology projects, including software implementation, cloud migrations, or cybersecurity.
- Proven experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with cloud platform architecture and cybersecurity tools is a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is preferred.
