iSphere is seeking a SIS Analyst for a 6 month compelling REMOTE opportunity for our Texas client.
The SIS analyst will perform the following duties
1. System Management and Maintenance
Assist in the administration and configure the district's Frontline Student Information System. Troubleshoot system errors, bugs, and issues to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
2. Data Integrity and Quality
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of student data within the SIS, including enrollment, attendance, grades, discipline records, and scheduling.
Conduct regular audits and checks to identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in the data.
3. Compliance and Reporting
Ensure that the SIS aligns with state and federal reporting requirements, including those for PEIMS.
Assist in preparing and submitting PEIMS data to the Texas Education Agency, working closely with the PEIMS data analyst or coordinator.
Stay up-to-date with TEA data reporting requirements and implement changes in the system to meet evolving standards.
4. User Support and Training
Provide technical support to campus staff, administrators, and teachers who use the SIS.
- Train end-users on how to input, retrieve, and manage data in the SIS effectively.
Develop user guides, manuals, and tutorials for SIS users.
5. System Customization and Integration
When applicable, customize the SIS to meet the unique needs of the district, including workflows, reporting tools, and user roles.
When applicable, integrate the SIS with other district systems (e.g., learning management systems, transportation systems, finance, or HR systems) to streamline operations and ensure data consistency.
6. Data Analysis and Reporting
Extract and analyze data from the SIS to generate reports for district administrators, board members, and other stakeholders.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data trends to support decision-making, resource allocation, and compliance with accountability metrics.
