Join Our Team at iSphere: Seeking a Skilled .NET Developer
iSphere is on the lookout for a talented and proactive .NET Developer to leverage their expertise in Microsoft .NET Core software development. This role is critical for supporting and enhancing the Mainframe Transformation project at RRC, focusing on agency business applications. If you have a strong background in .NET Core, JSON, Swagger, MS-SQL, and C# core skills, and are ready to tackle custom integrations with the existing RBDMS platform, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Application Development Best Practices: Develop software components and recommend database schema changes while adhering to RRC and industry standards. Conduct thorough testing to ensure products meet requirements, including creating test data, test cases, and test scripts.
- Technical Skill: Perform analysis on existing defects or proposed enhancements to boost efficiency or adapt to new procedures. Identify root causes and solutions for complex problems.
- Team Contribution: Collaborate with the project team on sprint/release tasks, including providing development effort estimates, discussing architecture and design, and resolving defects. Maintain technical documentation as needed.
Candidate Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in computer science or a related field.
- Experience: At least eight years of experience in software development using .NET with C# and .NET Core development in a team environment.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Availability: Must be available for some nights and weekends to support code deployments and application support.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work in a dynamic environment.
- Organization: Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Leadership: Experience in leading a team and guiding junior developers is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with GoAnywhere secure file transfer software.
- Proficiency in databases and MSSQL.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and broadly distributed version control.
- Familiarity with Visual Studio IDE.
- Experience with Telerik or Kendo UI controls.
- Skilled in creating and maintaining unit tests and testing classes, resolving software anomalies, and creating regression tests.
- Understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA) concepts, microservices, RESTful APIs, primarily as a consumer of those services.
- Knowledge of PDF document creation and manipulation or experience with iText.
- Experience with Azure multiple environment deployment is helpful.
