We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee our quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with Spice and Seasoning industry standards. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining product quality and safety, leading SQF Certification Standards through quality improvement initiatives, and fostering a culture of excellence within the organization. Duties
- Develop, implement, and maintain SQF Certification and quality assurance policies and procedures in accordance with FDA, FSMA, FSVP, and HACCP standards.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop corrective actions and preventive measures for quality issues.
- Lead training sessions for staff on quality assurance practices and regulatory requirements.
- Manage project timelines related to quality initiatives and ensure successful execution of projects.
- Prepare reports on quality metrics for management review, highlighting key performance indicators.
Experience
- Proven experience in a Quality Assurance role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality inspection techniques and methodologies.
- Familiarity with FDA, CGMP regulations, and HACCP principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively.
- Strong communication skills to convey information clearly across various levels of the organization.
