The Opportunity: As a B2B Sales Account Executive at ISPN, you’ll execute a proven, prescriptive sales process to engage and close new business opportunities in the broadband space. This role is outbound-focused, requiring proactive prospecting, diligent follow-up, and a strong ability to engage technical buyers in meaningful conversations. You’ll be supported by engineers on highly technical calls, but you should be comfortable running your own demos, crafting solution overviews, and preparing custom presentations with keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
- Follow a Structured Sales Process: Use our established frameworks for outreach, qualification, discovery, negotiation, and closing. We’re always tinkering and making improvements but won’t require you to build strategies from scratch.
- Outbound Prospecting: Target and engage 30 new leads each week, creating a robust funnel of potential customers.
- Pipeline Management: Create at least one new deal per week and work toward closing two deals per month, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
- Product Demos & Presentations: Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations over Zoom or phone, leveraging PowerPoint and proprietary software to tailor solutions to client needs.
- Technical Coordination: Collaborate with product engineers for highly specialized discussions, ensuring prospects receive accurate and detailed answers to technical questions.
- Relationship Building: Maintain frequent communication with prospects and clients, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor for ongoing and future needs.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices within the broadband sector.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing and other internal teams to refine messaging, gather customer insights, and ensure deal success.
- 5 Years of B2B Sales Experience: Proven track record in full-cycle sales, particularly in outbound prospecting. Broadband experience is a plus but not required.
- Technical Aptitude: Comfortable discussing and learning about managed services, servers, and network monitoring. (You’re not an engineer, but you “get” tech.)
- Coachability & Curiosity: You thrive on feedback, adapt quickly, and seek continual improvement.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written skills for polished emails, and confidence speaking on the phone or via Zoom.
- Presentation Savvy: Experience creating custom presentations (e.g., PowerPoint) to illustrate complex solutions.
- High-Energy, Results-Driven Mindset: Motivated to exceed targets and make the most of a lucrative compensation plan.
- Ownership & Accountability: You take pride in managing your pipeline from prospecting to close.
- Familiarity with Sales Tools: General CRM proficiency (HubSpot preferred), Luster.ai for sales training, LinkedIn, etc.
- Willingness to Travel: Able to attend tradeshows (~1/mos), client meetings, and visit the office at least once per quarter for in-person collaboration.
