Salary Range : $120,000 - $130,000 depending on experience
About the Role :
As a Senior Datacenter Engineer , you will take charge of designing, deploying, and implementing advanced data center solutions, including cloud, hyper-converged, and virtualized environments. In this post-sales technical leadership role, you will ensure seamless solution delivery and exceptional client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead post-sales deployment and implementation of cutting-edge data center solutions.
Design, implement, and troubleshoot virtualized and cloud-based environments.
Configure and maintain hardware and software systems to meet client needs.
Deploy virtualized environments utilizing platforms such as VMware, Nutanix, and Hyper-V.
Implement and maintain data center switching solutions, ensuring performance and reliability.
Qualifications : Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience :
5 years of experience implementing data center solutions.
Expertise with platforms such as VxRail, Nutanix, Azure Stack, vSphere, SRM, and vSAN.
Technical Skills :
Storage : Unity, PowerStore, PowerMax, NetApp, Pure, HPE Alletra.
Servers : Dell, HPE, Cisco UCS.
Hyper-Converged Infrastructure : VMware vSAN, Nutanix, Azure Stack, SimpliVity, HyperFlex.
Backup Solutions : Veeam, Cohesity, Commvault, Rubrik.
Networking : Cisco Nexus, Dell PowerSwitch, HPE Aruba, Cisco MSA, Brocade.
Cloud Platforms : Azure, AWS, VMware Cloud, GCP.
Certifications :
Industry certifications such as VCP, VCAP, or equivalent vendor-specific credentials preferred.
Soft Skills :
Strong client-facing communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Effective documentation and reporting skills.
