Salary Range : $75,000 - $85,000 depending on experience
About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to oversee and manage various aspects of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, troubleshooting, and maintaining IT environments in both on-premises and cloud-based settings.
Key Responsibilities :
Provision user accounts and manage access permissions.
Provide support for Office 365 and on-premises Exchange Server.
Configure and deploy PCs and related devices to meet organizational requirements.
Perform regular Windows updates on servers.
Manage VMware servers and virtual machines as necessary.
Maintain and support endpoint devices, including desktops, servers, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
Oversee hardware and software inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Administer antivirus solutions, including email spam and virus filtering tools.
Manage backup solutions, ensuring all critical data is backed up and periodically tested.
Troubleshoot and resolve client and server-related technical issues.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical designs, architecture, procedures, and work instructions.
Monitor and maintain network infrastructure performance, coordinating with third-party support as needed.
Oversee firewall monitoring and management.
Identify and proactively mitigate potential infrastructure-related issues.
Collaborate with external vendors for technical support and procurement.
Qualifications : Education :
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. Experience :
Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT systems administration. Technical Skills :
Expertise in Microsoft Windows servers
Proficiency with VMware technologies
Active Directory management and Group Policy configuration
Experience with Exchange 365 in a hybrid environment
Certifications :
Certification in one or more of the following is a plus :
Windows Systems Administration
CompTIA Network
Soft Skills :
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to document and discuss proposed solutions.
Willingness to collaborate with team members and stakeholders to optimize IT operations.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
