Overview
We are hiring a Business Development Representative in Event Sales at IST Management to promote Halidom Eatery on Moreland Avenue in Atlanta, GA - near the EAV neighborhood.
The BDR will work on-site at IST Management HQ performing cold-calling and other b2b sales functions - reaching out to local businesses and other associations to keep the event pipeline and private event space full, and on-site at Halidom Eatery performing tours for prospective clients. Candidates will need to have at least 1 year of cold calling experience, and excellent communication skills - both verbal and written. Experience in the hospitality/events industry is a huge plus. The ideal candidate will have a history of Event Sales in the hospitality/restaurant industry and confidence in their network of past and potential clients. *MUST have experience using Hubspot.*

Compensation
Base salary 65,000.00 - 65,000.00 USD/yr Bonus
Bonuses are awarded for scheduled qualified meetings and issued contracts.

Responsibilities
The BDR will work on-site at IST Management HQ performing cold-calling and other b2b sales functions - reaching out to local businesses and other associations to keep the event pipeline and private event space full, and on-site at Halidom Eatery performing tours for prospective clients.
- Developing new business and expanding existing business by establishing and maintaining contacts; cold calling and prospecting
- Working in tandem with Events Director and staff at Halidom Eatery
- Leading event space tours; making compelling presentations to decision-makers
- Reporting and other administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Candidates must have at least 1 year of b2b cold calling experience, and excellent communication skills - both verbal and written. Experience in the hospitality/events industry is a huge plus. The ideal candidate will have a history of Event Sales in the hospitality/restaurant industry and confidence in their network of past and potential clients. *MUST have experience using Hubspot.* Other qualifications include:
- Computer skills; internet savvy, social media skills, MS Office
- CRM experience
- Legal authorization to work for any employer in the US
- Diploma or GED
