Overview

IST Management Services is seeking a Van / Truck driver in the Princeton area! Ideal candidates will have an understanding of mail services, possess an excellent customer service mindset, are willing to train, and are ready to grow in their professional office services career! Position is a combination of driving van, small truck and large truck delivering packages to around local campus, as well other client locations in the Princeton areas.

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities :

• Deliver packages to designated mail stops, in different buildings
• Drive company provided vehicles (vans, light trucks & large trucks)
• CDL is not required but preferred
• Scan packages in from couriers, scan packages out to customers / sort and file packages for customer pick up
• Shipping & Receiving; Lift large bundles of mail, overnight packages and shipments of paper
• Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitudeConsistently adhere to business procedure guidelinesTake direction from supervisor or site manager
• Participate in cross-training and perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Customer Service / Hospitality / Retail background preferred; Prior relevant mail services experience is a plus
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills; Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment; Competency in performing multiple functional tasks
• Ability to meet employer's attendance policy; A valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation to and from work
• Lifting up to 55 pounds
