Position: Commercial Lines Account Manager

Commercial Lines Account Manager duties:
- Time with Company: 2-5 years
- Responsibilities: The Account Manager for the Commercial department will be responsible for completing the following duties.
- Phones: Commercial Lines AM will be responsible for answering and transferring calls. They will also be responsible for knowing the difference between a transfer, blind transfer, and when to use conference calling.
- Outlook Navigation: Commercial Lines AM will be responsible for using proper email etiquette when sending and receiving emails.
- Applied Epic Navigation: Commercial Lines AM will be responsible for a number of tasks, when using EPIC Navigation.
- New Business Process: Commercial Lines AM will be responsible for completing new business processes.
- Endorsement Processing/Servicing Accounts: Commercial Lines AM will be responsible for taking requests and noting the date and time that the request was received. The role also includes processing endorsements through EPIC. Any processing of mail, scans, and/or attachments must be completed ASAP.
- Certificates & Endorsements: Commercial Lines AM will be responsible for knowing how to read and issue CERT requests. They will also be responsible for knowing when and how to add additional insureds and other endorsements.
- MVR/Loss Run Ordering & Reading: Commercial Lines AM will be responsible for processing & interpreting MVRs and ordering loss runs.
Renewals:
- Obtain loss runs when necessary
- Complete applications and supplementary applications when needed
- Obtain updated information from customer
- Add to marketing when necessary
- Cross-Selling: Commercial Lines AM will be responsible for understanding how to complete cross-sells, while also understanding the importance of them for TIS. They will also be responsible for tracking their number of cross-sells completed.
Licensing Requirements:
- Active Property and Casualty license; must remain compliant with licensing requirements
