Isto Biologics is a growing, 100% biologics-focused company committed to helping patients heal faster by providing a range of advanced solutions to surgeons of varying specialties. Isto Biologics is seeking a full-time Decontamination Technician for their Carlsbad, CA location.
Overall Responsibilities: Function with minimal supervision. Provide Cleaned equipment and Materials for the manufacturing of Product. Maintain Gowning Room and Cleanroom supplies along with assisting Operations with non-Cleanroom related tasks if required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct Competency evaluations as necessary
- Operate in an ISO class 7,8 environment
- Wash, Disinfect, Wrap and Sterilize equipment and tools
- Accurately Document Sterilization runs on appropriate Forms
- Complete & Submit sterilization run forms
- Maintain inventory of material and supplies that effect manufacturing
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist Operations with Tasks if needed
- Edit and update Documents that pertain to Operations
Working Relationships:
Ability to function as a member of the team and build relationships between Operations and other areas of the organization.
Job Qualifications:
- Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Takes initiative in seeking help when needed.
- High School diploma or GED required
- Clean room experience preferred
- Autoclave experience a plus
